Book Summary
Tana wakes up to a bloody nightmare! Almost everyone at the party was killed by vampires except two. She finds her ex-boyfriend Aiden and Gavriel (a vampire) tied up next to each other. She decides to rescue them both! On her way out she gets grazed by vampire teeth, she now believes her worst nightmare has come true. The only option she has left is going to a vampire city called Coldtown. Coldtown is a city quarantined by vampires or so they thought. While there, they meet humans that are obsessed with vampires and will do anything it takes to be one. Tana is torn between many things and learns a valuable lesson that love comes in many forms. including no BLOOD!

Black does an awesome job making Coldtown come to life with her vivid writing style. This is the perfect read for students that like horror, drama, and fantasy! Readers will connect to the multiple themes that readers will be able to connect with including love and acceptance! This a recommended read for high school students.
